Meet David Swenson

CEO & Founder

David founded Northstar Fireworks in 1985, working out of a small shed behind his home in Montpelier, Vermont. His love of pyrotechnics started when he was young, and when the chance came to work with fireworks, he jumped on it.

Over the years, Northstar has grown from that backyard shed into the leading fireworks company in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Upstate New York. 

When he’s not working, David enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and relaxing on the beach in Costa Rica.
